When a spill is compromising the safety of workers or the environment, WetVacs are primarily needed. They can gather and haul most TDGs, acids, septic wastes, or fluids with solids in it.
DryVacs are needed for spills consisting of dry materials like lime, cement or dry sands. These materials are to fine to efficiently gather or transport by other means.
